This product works very well. I've been buying this brand for a long time. I used to purchase the smaller size until I found this larger size container. I prefer the natural, not flavored version so I can add it to orange juice or other flavored liquids. The contents are always extremely fresh so even though it's a large container it will stay fresh a long time.

i tried just about all of them and this one works the best i used it for years now.still works fine.it will keep you regular.no problem.the cost is the lowest on amazon.i used to buy from g n c stores but no more.amazon has all different flavors.you must buy from the right vendor.do your homework! 3 spoons before you go to bed works for me. tony phila.
 18 Capsules Per Day - Not A Very Moving Experience April 23, 2009

I am 37 years old and I have never used any kind of cleanse product. I recently moved overseas and suddenly gained 10 pounds without changing my diet or lifestyle - after maintaining a consistant weight throughout my life up until that point; I thought it might be time to cleanse. I liked this product because it contained only one ingredient (psyllium husk); I didn't want to ingest a lot of ingredients whose names I couldn't pronounce and whose reason for being there I could not ascertain. I started out with 4 capsules and over a period of 4 days worked my way to the 6 capsules before each meal that are recommended. I should note that I am petite and weigh far less than the 150 pounds that this dose is recommended for. The first three days after I started taking this I had no bowel movements - not unusual for me, but I thought it was a bit odd considering the type of product. As time went on I still did not notice a change in frequency or effectiveness of my bowl movements although the stools did appear softer. I have just finished the bottle and while I did not have any negative effects from taking the product, I also did not have any positive effects.
Easiest to swallow - works the best May 9, 2007

For those who have trouble swallowing the stuff that clumps quickly and sticks in your throat - this will solve that problem. Because it isn't a powder I find that it works far superior to the others and I have no gas with this one. As a GI patient for years - this product (although the canister is ugly to look at) is the one that keeps me happy!!
